Discover the baroque side of Palermo and the sites that make it so beautiful. Visit  the Monastery Church of Santa Caterina, including the kitchens, courtyard and the terraces from where it will be possible to see all the domes of Palermo. This was a monastery of cloistered nuns and was closed to the public until 2017. In this monastery, as tradition dictates, you have the opportunity to buy the typical biscuits prepared by the nuns: the martorana fruit, the best cannoli with ricotta cheese or the famous cassatelle. Afterwards, spend some free time shopping or grabbing a bite to eat.
