Family Hike: Mt. Sartorius & Rotoli Cave

Depart:  NAS II at 7:30 a.m. | Marinai at 7:45 a.m. | NAS I at 8:00 a.m.
Return: 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $45 (Includes transportation, guide and lunch)

Difficulty: 2.5 - Levels are from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest)

Join us for a hike through the forested slopes of Mt. Etna North (Mount Sartorius). This trip is easy to moderate intensity and children must be able to hike trail terrain for 1-2 hours (approx. 3 miles). See one of the oldest conifer forests in Sicily, with trees from 200-300 years old, and seven of Etna’s extinct volcanic craters all in one hike! Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.  Please remember to bring water, snacks and layered clothes.
