Hike: Catafulco Waterfalls

Nebrodi Park is a beautiful natural area, off the beaten path near the northern coast of the island. Hike through woodlands and explore the waterfall of Catafulco. There, the water at the base creates a natural pool called Marmitta dei Giganti, or Giant’s Marble. The hike is 4.5 km and will take an estimated 3 - 4 hours. Wear long pants, good hiking boots and make sure you keep an eye out for the famous Sicilian black pigs! Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Agriturismo Le Due Palme for a traditional Sicilian lunch.
