Snowshoe/Hike: Grotta del Gelo

Date: Sunday, January 12

Cost: $65/$60 Liberty (Includes transportation, guide and snowshoes.)

Difficulty Level: 5 - Levels are from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest)

This is a rigorous snowshoe/hike (weather dependent) across the lava fields on the north side of Mt. Etna to see the "Ice Cave" Grotta del Gelo. The hike will descend into the caves to explore the lava formations below. Please bring waterproof boots, warm layers, winter attire, water, snacks and a packed lunch.
